PLF was founded on the view that estate planning and probate involve more than preparing documents. These matters require thoughtful planning and clear explanation, and they involve decisions that affect families, finances, and responsibilities long after documents are signed or court processes conclude.

Our Team
Bis Pierce
Founding Attorney
Bis Pierce is the founding attorney of Pierce Law Firm, PLLC. He earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland.
Before entering the legal profession, Bis built a career in education. He earned a B.A. in English Literature from Seattle University and an M.Ed. from the University of Southeast Alaska, then went on to teach high school and serve as an adjunct professor. These experiences deepened his commitment to helping others through important personal and professional decisions.
Prior to establishing PLF, Bis gained experience in estate planning, probate, guardianship, family law, entity formation, personal injury, and trust administration. This broad foundation enables him to guide clients through life’s transitions with clear communication and a practical, supportive approach.
In addition to leading PLF, Bis serves as of counsel to other firms on estate and probate matters, providing guidance on complex planning and estate administration issues. This role allows him to collaborate with other attorneys and bring a broader range of experience to the clients he serves.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his family.

Kanti Mani‑Pierce
Chief Operating Officer / Head of Staff
Kanti Mani-Pierce serves as Chief Operating Officer at Pierce Law Firm, PLLC. Since the firm’s inception, she has guided operations and administration, helping ensure that the practice runs smoothly and that Bis and staff are supported in their work with clients.
As a professional accountant with experience in financial management and organizational systems, Kanti brings structure to the firm’s operations and supports its long‑term goals. She also serves as a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Washington, adding another layer of support to the firm’s work.
In addition to her work at PLF, Kanti is the founder of kanTEAs, a handcrafted tea business. Outside of work, she enjoys small business ventures, community projects, and time with her family.
